TikTok sensation Addison Rae has hit back at people who accused her of “dropping” old friends after tasting fame.

It started when one of her high school friends, Graciea Hart, posted a TikTok video with Rae. "When @addisonre was your actual tracy," she captioned the video.

The video soon went viral and people started accusing Rae of dropping her old friends after becoming famous.

The 19-year-old sensation defended herself and claimed that she is in touch with her old friends.

"Saying I changed and dropped old friends knowing nothing, I flew my best friend from high school to Los Angeles this year," she said, adding her friends circle changed after she moved away.

"I moved from where she lived to go to college four hours away, you tell me if you hang out with everyone from high school," she said.

Hart supported Rae’s claims saying, "We actually do talk when we get the chance, she’s obviously a very busy person."

When Instagram page TikTok room posted a photo of Rae and Hart, the TikTok star commented saying, "We had a close friendship THROUGH my relationship where she was family, after the breakup we still were friends. i flew my best friend to LA this year and was a bridesmaid in my hs best friends wedding. once you graduate high school and move away to college, life changes :) when i moved to college, no one from high school reached out to me.. when i moved to LA though, everyone started to.. weird.. anyways love y’all have a good day you & your body are perfect."

Meanwhile Rae’s friendship with Kourtney Kardashian is the talk of the town. Kardashian recently took to Instagram to share bikini-clad photos of herself and Rae.

In July, Rae opened up about their unlikely friendship. She said she met Kardashian through YouTube sensation David Dobrik following which the two instantly hit it off.

"I met Kourtney through a friend, through David. We surprised Mason (Kardashian’s son) because Mason liked my videos on TikTok," Rae said during an appearance on the "Tom Ward Show."

"I kind of just stuck around and we got really close. We started working out together. We did a video on her YouTube of us doing a butt workout and stuff, so that was fun," she added.
