TikTok Sensation Addison Rae has earned a decent amount of money from her recent TikTok video in which she took up the complicated WAP challenge.

The video, in which Rae recreated the dance on Cardi B's hit song WAP featuring Megan Thee Stallion, has got over 107 million views. Due to this, the 19-year-old TikToker, who has over 56 million followers on the platform, has made a nice amount of money.

According to reports, TikTok pays creators around 0.02 to 0.03 cents per 1,000 views a video receives. Based on this calculation, Rae has already minted over $3,210 from the WAP challenge video. This also suggests that TikTokers like Rae are really cashing in on their popularity on the platform.

Earlier this month, Forbes published the list of highest earning TikTokers. Rae topped the list with earnings totalling to over $5 million for the 12-month period ending in June this year.

She recently spoke to Business Insider about her journey on the platform, her success and brand partnerships.

"I initially found out about TikTok through a lot of young girls at my school and in my dance studio. I remember being in a few of them, and after a while I downloaded it, not thinking I was going to post," she told the outlet.

Eventually, she posted a video that immediately went viral. Within three months, she gained over 1 million followers on TikTok and there was no looking back after that. She soon started receiving several brand endorsement offers and ended up working with brands such like Reebok and L'Oreal. Hollywood talent agency WME also signed her.

"This is a huge blessing and huge opportunity that's literally based off the people who support me and how much they interact with me. I've really valued the relationship with my supporters a nd I always try to comment back to my supporters and put all of my time and energy into that," she told the outlet.
