  • Rae said they are "still friends"
  • Hall had previously said that the two were "hanging out"

TikTok star Addison Rae recently revealed that she and Bryce Hall have taken a break after being in an on-again, off-again relationship.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rae confirmed her relationship status with Hall and also said they remain "friends."

"There was a lot of times when we were on, we were off, and it was kind of just a confusing situation. Right now we’re just kind of both deciding that there are a lot of things going on in both of our lives that we really need to focus on. At the end of the day, we’re both still wishing the best for each other, and still friends," she told the outlet.

"Who knows what will happen in the future, I’m kind of just living life day by day. We’re still young, so I’m really not too worried about anything," she added.

This comes three months after Hall spoke to the outlet about his complicated relationship with Rae.

"We are hanging out. We're still, like, really good friends. Like, we never broke ... we never separated for real bad reasons, you know? We were just busy doing our own things. Now with quarantine, not so busy. I'm not saying anything, but we're friends. We're really good friends," he told the outlet in June.

Meanwhile, in the recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, 19-year-old Rae also spoke about "the negativity" of being a TikTok star.

"Just dealing with the fact that there are gonna be people that just don't like you, and will always have something negative to say about you. But there are so many good parts about this industry, and the social media world, that it kind of just outweighs it. At the end of the day, I have to look at the positive and not look at the negative. And the positive has brought me so many great things," she said.

Rae told the outlet that a strong bond with her family members has helped her stay positive.

"They're here. They're supporting me. They love me. I've done so many great things in such a short amount of time, and I think it's just always about stepping back, appreciating everything you have and everything you receive. And really just thanking everyone around you and appreciating them and their time too," Rae said.
