'Tokyo Revengers' Episode 17 Spoilers: Takemichi's Resolve To Bring Baji Back

Takemichi finally learns why Baji betrayed Mikey and quit Toman. Now, he is struggling to convince Baji to leave Valhalla and rejoin Toman.

The official website has released the synopsis with a few spoiler stills of "Tokyo Revengers" Episode 17. Takemichi is set to meet Chifuyu Matsuno, the First Division vice-captain, who was brutally beaten up by Baji in a test of faith.

Chifuyu believes Baji has other motives behind his decision to join Valhalla. He tells Takemichi that Baji becoming part of Valhalla is good news for Toman.

He adds it is likely Baji has infiltrated Valhalla because he wants to take down Kisaki Tetta.

In "Tokyo Revengers" Episode 16, Baji and Kazutora recalled an incident that led to the rift between them and Mikey.

The flashback scene started with the newly formed Toman gang's founding members heading to the beach on their motorcycles. Draken, Mitsuya, Kazutora and the others are driving their powerful motorcycles while Mikey, the commander of Toman, was trailing behind as he was driving a CB250T.

Since it was powered by a 50cc engine, Mikey could not keep up with the rest of the gang. But Mikey loved his bike. Later, a rival gang from Yokohama confronted them and went on to ridicule Mikey and his underpowered bike.

When one of the gang members decided to destroy the moped, Mikey warned him he will kill them if they attempt anything like that.

Later, Kazutora and Baji decided to surprise Mikey by gifting him a new model of CB250T.

They robbed a motorcycle store and ended up killing its owner, who turned out to be Shinichiro Sano, Mikey's older brother.

The cast of the anime includes Yūki Shin as Takemichi Hanagaki, Azumi Waki as Hinata Tachibana, Eiji Takeuchi as Nobutaka Osanai, Daisuke Ono as Yasuhiro Muto, Masaaki Mizunaka as Keisuke Baji, Kengo Kawanishi as Nahoya Kawata, Satoshi Hino as Masataka Kiyomizu, Ryota Ohsaka as Naoto Tachibana, Shouta Hayama as Kazushi Yamagishi, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Makoto Suzuki, Showtaro Morikubo as Tetta Kisaki, Yuu Hayashi as Manjiro Sano, Yukihiro Nozuyama as Ryohei Hayashi and Takuya Eguchi as Shuji Hanma.

"Tokyo Revengers" Episode 17 is scheduled to air this Saturday. Crunchyroll is streaming the episodes.
