Tom D’Agostino Jr. Slams ‘Real Housewives’ Star LuAnn De Lesseps Breakup Rumors

Tom D’Agostino Jr. has had enough of reports claiming that he and his wife, LuAnn de Lesseps, have ended their relationship. The 50-year-old businessman has claimed that the two of them are still on the same page when it comes to their marriage.

On Monday, D’Agostino addressed the breakup rumors during an interview Us Weekly, telling the publication that “there is a lot of love here.” He then candidly shared that he and de Lesseps want their marriage to succeed despite the problems that they are currently facing.

De Lesseps has also come forward to comment on the split rumors. In a statement to People, the 52-year-old reality star said, “Tom and I are in love, and marriage takes work. We are working on this together.”

While D’Agostino and de Lesseps appear to show a united front, there are still sources saying that the two are having a tough time resolving whatever it is that’s threatening their matrimony. “They have hit a major rough patch,” one source said. “This was going on before the wedding, and she was too embarrassed to call it off, so she tuned out what a lot of people were saying.”

The same source added that de Lesseps has actually asked some of her closest friends for advice since she knew that something was already up. Nevertheless, the source said that she’s avoiding embarrassment by putting on a good face in front of the public.

Previously, Page Six ran an exclusive story about how D’ Agostino and de Lesseps have actually split and reconciled a couple of times following their New Year’s Eve wedding last year. The story surfaced in the wake of a physical confrontation between the couple at an NYC restaurant last week.

Trouble in paradise isn’t something new for the couple since D’Agostino previously kissed an ex-girlfriend at the Regency Hotel the night before his engagement party with de Lesseps, as per Perez Hilton.
