Tom Holland revealed one of the things that he finds "cool" about the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" movie is that it will start from the "same freeze-frame."

"What's cool about this film is it picks up right after the second one finishes," Holland told Collider on Monday. "So the second one finishes with a freeze-frame of Spider-Man, the third one starts with the same freeze-frame."

Marvel producer Kevin Feige also opened up about the timing of the upcoming installment and told the outlet that the movie will start immediately where it ended in "Spider-Man: Far from Home," which was released in 2019.

"No Way Home starts immediately after the events of Far From Home, which was always something we wanted to do in a story – start right immediately at that moment," Feige explained. "We’re finally able to do that here, and it doesn’t go well for Peter."

"As he starts his senior year, it is very chaotic and a dichotomy to where we met him in Homecoming, walking into his sophomore year," Feige concluded.

Besides the plot of the movie, fans are also excited for the return of Spiderman's iconic villains -- Green Goblin played by Willem Dafoe, Dr. Otto Octavius played by Alfred Molina and Sandman played by Thomas Haden Church.

Dafoe recently spoke about returning as Green Goblin and what makes him accept the role.

"It was really the pitch," Dafoe said in an interview posted on Spider-Man's official YouTube channel Sunday. "And, like Jamie, I know Amy's history. She walked me through it, and then Jon, the director, kind of pitched the whole idea before I read a script and it sounded like a lot of fun and a good solution."

During the interview, Molina also revealed that the material pitched to him was "excellent," although he was worried about his looks as he was reprising the role after 17 years.

The upcoming installment is helmed by director Jon Watts and the highly anticipated movie is slated to release exclusively in theaters on Dec. 17. It will be the fourth movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Four.
