  • Arsenal diverts its focus on Kulusevski after the Vlahovic pursuit falls short
  • Kulusevski is seen as a good fit for Arsenal's young talent-loaded lineup
  • Arsenal will need roughly $40 million to acquire Kulusevski from Juventus

Arsenal is doing well, but it will not stop the Gunners from skimming the market for added young talent.

Based on the latest reports, one player on the Gunners' radar is Dejan Kulusevski of Juventus.

The 21-year-old player has not exactly had a good stint with the Old Lady. He has been given ample playing time, appearing in all but one game in Serie A action so far this season.

In addition, he has only started twice in the Italian top-flight and played 90 minutes only once.

Should his struggles continue, it may not be surprising to see the Swedish footballer testing the market and moving out of the Juventus Stadium.

One club that could be looking into his availability is Arsenal, Calciomercato reported.

Kulusevski could make sense for the Gunners as the young guns of Mikel Arteta are carrying the majority of Arsenal's load so far this season.

But the fact remains that prying him from Juventus will not be easy.

Although his performance has not been panning out, the Old Lady is expected to only agree to a deal if Arsenal is bent on getting the young midfielder.

According to another report from Calciomercato, Juventus is likely to seek a deal not lower than £30 million ($40 million) for the Swede national.

There is no official word on whether the Gunners would be willing to oblige.

But if Arsenal will factor in the clamor of their fans who appear excited with the thought of seeing Kulusevski as a Gunner, something could go down this January or next summer.

The interest in Kulusevski is believed to be Arsenal’s Plan B after falling short in their pursuit of Dusan Vlahiovic of Fiorentina, Sky Sports Italia reported.
