  • Kamaldeen Sulemana is expected to get plenty of suitors after this season
  • Sulemana is compared to PSG's Neymar by Nordsjaelland boss
  • Multiple clubs are expected to make an offer

Manchester United and Liverpool are expected to target a lot of footballers during the transfer window, and it appears both clubs have their sights on a talented teenage winger.

Kamaldeen Sulemana is expected to get his share of interest, and both the Reds and Red Devils have been linked to the Ghanaian winger.

According to Nordsjaelland boss Flemming Pedersen, Manchester United and Liverpool are in the race for the services of the NXGN starlet.

The 19-year-old is seen as one of the outstanding talents outside Europe, someone included in Goal's 2021 NXGN list of the world's top teenage footballers.

This alone makes him a hot target, and Pedersen believes that the time for him to get his due is now.

"[Manchester] United, Liverpool and others are in the race. Well, I also know Kamal so well that when he is pressured, he automatically takes the next step as well,” Pedersen said when he spoke on TV3 Sport. "And with the personality and mentality he has, there I will never ever say it will be too big a leap, for he is extraordinary."

By the looks of it, Nordsjaelland is resigned to the fact that Sulemana is destined to leave Farum Park.

But given his talent, it seems to be a foregone conclusion with the boss admitting that he is also behind the hype of the teen sensation.

"That's completely understandable, and I myself helped hype him last spring when he made his debut. But we have to see what happens," he quipped.

As far as the hype is concerned, Sulemana has drawn a comparison to the game’s tops stars. The most notable is Neymar although he feels that the rising star could be better since he is faster than the PSG talisman.

Sulemana has also drawn praise from other football personalities such as FC Midtjylland captain Erik Sviatchenko.

Sviatchenko has had his share of battles with the Ghanaian and has nothing but praise for Sulemana.

“He’s on his way to something big, and it’s a pleasure to be tested against one of the great talents in Europe,” Sviatchenko stated.

So far, Sulemana has made 42 appearances for Nordsjaelland across all competitions.

His current deal does not expire until 2024 but offers are expected to pour in.

Until that happens, he is focusing on the present task at hand. He sees action for Tigrene in a Superliga play-off clash against Brondby on Monday.
