Tristan Thompson addressed "gossipers" after ex Khloe Kardashian shot down claims that she and the NBA player were back together.

On Monday, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star fired back at one Twitter user, who quote-tweeted a report that claimed she had given Thompson "yet another chance" and wrote, "At this point, [Khloe] has no self-worth. Anyway…"

"You’re telling me you made an assessment about my life because of a random blog? I think that says more about you than it does about me," Kardashian replied.

While he didn't directly reference the exchange, the 30-year-old Sacramento Kings player took to Twitter shortly after Kardashian's posted her response and took a dig at "gossipers."

"Gossipers are worse than thieves because they attempt to steal another person's dignity, honor, credibility and reputation which are difficult to restore," Thompson tweeted.

He added in a subsequent tweet, "So remember this: when your feet slip, you can restore your balance. When your tongue slips, you cannot recover your words. Act accordingly."

But some Twitter users immediately jumped into his posts to call him out for his multiple cheating scandals during his relationship with Kardashian. The two had called it quits in June, nearly one year after they got back together and months after Instagram model Sydney Chase claimed that she hooked up with him in January.

"Gossipers and thieves are better than you though," one commented.

"Serial cheaters are worse than thieves because they attempt to steal another person's dignity, honor, integrity and self-respect which are difficult to restore," another wrote.

Three days prior, Thompson also shared a cryptic message on Instagram. "Some people will judge you for changing. Some people will celebrate you for growing. Choose your circle wisely," he wrote.

At the time, Thompson received supportive messages from his celebrity pals and followers. Several also commented with fire and folded hand emojis.

"We support you, bro," Chris Johnson commented.

"Jamaican Canadian Prophet," Kim Kardashian wrote after liking his post.

Meanwhile, an unnamed source told Entertainment Tonight earlier this month that Kardashian "still has love for him and there is some potential that they could get back together down the line." However, the reality star is currently focusing on herself and her 3-year-old daughter and "is keeping him at an arm's length," the insider added.

Another anonymous source also confirmed to E! News that Thompson and Kardashian are not back together. The exes are reportedly only hanging out together for their daughter True.
