Hillary Clinton took her thoughts to Twitter on Monday after Amy Barrett’s confirmation of a Supreme Court seat, and Trump supporters aren’t having it.

"Senate Republicans just pushed through a Supreme Court justice who will help them take away Americans' health care in the middle of a pandemic. For them, this is a victory. Vote them out," Clinton tweeted.

Barrett was voted in by a 52-48 vote among the Senate. She could change many laws when it comes to LGBTQ protections, abortion rights, control over the environment and even workplace safety, CNN reports.

America has been split down the middle after this information was announced, and Clinton’s tweet emphasized the divide on social media.

One Clinton supporter said, “When they lose all the benefits #RBG fought for they can’t come back and complain. No checking accounts for women, no credit cards for women, no loans for women, no widower benefits for men etc....they can thank their elected officials that pushed this through.”

A Trump supporter went on to tweet, “Yes it is...Congrats Amy Coney Barrett! One of many wins. MAGA2020.”

Another said, “Happy Birthday! Amy Coney Barrett is our new Supreme Justice. A great role model. VOTE RED!!!! Trump just got started. Let’s see what he can do with both the House and Senate. VOTE RED!!!!”

Even though the election is days away, there are cases that need decisions by the Supreme Court. This includes challenges to voting rules that have been pending before the Court which could affect the presidential election.

Clinton’s tweet has 171,700 likes, 5,500 quote tweets and 30,700 retweets at press time.
