A lot has been written about Ben Affleck’s dating life ever since he split from his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. But much of what is available on the actor’s personal life online these days just aren’t true. Here are the top debunked rumors about the actor.

According to Gossip Cop, one rumor previously claimed that Affleck was dating ex Jennifer Lopez again. According to the rumor, the actor was in rehab when he reached out to his ex-fiancée. Lopez was with Alex Rodriguez at the time, and an “insider” claimed that she rejected the actor’s advances. Sources reportedly confirmed later that this story is not true.

Another woman that Affleck wanted to date, according to a rumor, was Meghan Markle’s friend, Janina Gavankar. Affleck and Gavankar reportedly got “cozy” on the sets of their upcoming film, “Torrance,” according to a so-called insider. The rumor further claimed that the actor wanted to have a double date with Prince Harry and Markle. Affleck’s spokesperson has confirmed that this story is fake.

Affleck was in a relationship with Playboy model Shauna Sexton while he was in rehab. It was around this time that there was a rumor about the actor being “head over heels in love” with her, and he was supposedly even planning to get married with the model. This rumor has evidently been debunked as the actor ended that relationship soon after he left rehab.

When Affleck was still with Sexton, a rumor also surfaced that he was dating another “mystery blonde.” The basis for this story was that a woman was seen entering his home in Los Angeles. The actor’s spokesperson later explained that Affleck’s friend from rehab visited him that day, and the latter was accompanied by his girlfriend.

Another woman that Affleck dated in the past was “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus. The two of them eventually split, but there was a rumor that said the split happened because Garner wanted her ex-husband to dump Shookus. Garner supposedly felt that the producer was a bad influence at a time when Affleck was trying to stay sober.

According to People, sources confirmed that Shookas was supporting Affleck and helping him with his addiction problem. However, since the actor’s situation wasn’t improving, she decided to end the relationship.

Meanwhile, Affleck has been focusing on his career. His next film is “Triple Frontier.” But the actor has also said goodbye to one of his most iconic roles as he will no longer be playing Batman.

In a recent interview with “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” a video of which has been posted on YouTube, the actor explained that he couldn’t “crack” this character, and he was now willing to step aside and let someone else take a shot at it.
