Rumor mills have been churning out new false stories about Julia Roberts. One of the latest stories about the actress claimed that she is “in hiding” amid her supposed marriage problems with husband Danny Moder. But this rumor has now been debunked.

Roberts was recently spotted on a vacation trip with her husband and three kids. A rumor previously suggested that this trip was her last hope of salvaging their supposed failing marriage. Now, the latest outrageous claim from the rumor mills is that the trip didn’t help solve their problems, so the actress is now “in hiding.”

The tabloid that ran this story based its claims on an anonymous “source.” According to this insider, Roberts has “taken refuge” in her home in Malibu. The actress, according to the story, only leaves the house “to run errands for her kids.”

The source reportedly explained that nothing has changed since the vacation trip, and Roberts is wondering how her marriage has “dipped to its lowest ebb yet.” The situation has forced her to “hide from the world.”

The truth, however, is that not only is Roberts not in hiding, but she also attended the Oscars on Sunday, which is arguably the biggest celebrity event of the year. Roberts also presented an award at the annual ceremony.

Roberts and her husband went out to get some burgers for dinner after the Oscars. The actress told People that she and her husband didn’t realize that dinner was held early at the event, so by the time it was over, they were both starving. She described the experience of having burgers with her husband as “fun.”

As far the question about her alleged marriage problems are concerned, Roberts previously shared a picture of her and Moder on Instagram. The actress can be seen looking at her husband lovingly in the picture.

The tabloid that ran the story about Roberts’ marriage problems has a history of writing such false stories, Gossip Cop reported. The same outlet's rumor about Roberts and Moder's getaway being about saving her marriage was also debunked at the time.
