Miley Cyrus could reportedly reunite with Liam Hemsworth in court.

According to the court records obtained by Radar Online, Cyrus and Hemsworth could reunite at a status conference at the Stanley Mosk courthouse early next year. Proof of service must be filed by Hemsworth’s attorney before the Jan. 21 hearing to avoid coming to court.

The actor also has the option to dismiss the case before the date. But if he fails to provide the necessary paperwork, he would be forced to come face to face with Cyrus.

Cyrus and Hemsworth announced their separation in August. At that time, a source told the tabloid that the “Wrecking Ball” singer has accepted that her marriage is over, and she has agreed to move forward with the divorce proceedings.

“They’ve both calmed down now, and Liam just wants this chapter fully done with so he can move on,” the source added.

But just last week, Star claimed that Cyrus wants to get back together with her ex-husband.

“Miley’s sorry about the way things went down, and she’d like to give their marriage another go. She knows she’s been crazy lately, but deep down, she loves Liam,” an unnamed source told the tabloid.

The insider went as far as saying that Cyrus is just using her new boyfriend, Cody Simpson, while she’s trying to get back together with Hemsworth.

“Cody was a plaything. She was stringing him along until she figured out how to mend things with Liam,” the source said.

But by the looks of it, all of the claims made by the tabloid are untrue. Cyrus has never expressed her desire to get back together with Hemsworth since their divorce.

In fact, the singer quickly moved on from her ex-husband after their split by hooking up with Kaitlynn Carter. Cyrus and Simpson’s relationship is also going strong. The couple celebrated Thanksgiving together with the “Hannah Montana” star’s family.
