  • Prince Philip was rushed to hospital last week

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently in Canada to celebrate the holidays with their son and the Duchess of Sussex’s mom, Doria Ragland.

Last week, the palace allegedly revealed that the royal couple’s decision to celebrate Christmas in Canada reflects how important the Commonwealth country is to them.

Before Prince Harry and Markle tied the knot, the Duchess of Sussex was based in Canada, where she was filming for her role on “Suits.” Ragland, who lives in the United States, flew out of the country to spend time with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.

But Radar Online accused the couple of snubbing Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Since they are not in London at the moment, the Sussexes were unable to attend the Queen’s Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.

And just a few days ago, the palace also confirmed that Prince Philip was rushed to the hospital to seek treatment for a pre-existing condition. The Duke of Edinburgh is expected to stay at the hospital for a few more days until he gets better.

The tabloid claimed that Prince Harry and Markle did not prioritize Prince Philip’s failing health over their trip. However, it is important to note that Prince Harry and Markle’s trip has already been planned and finalized even before Prince Philip was rushed to the hospital.

And last month, an official statement from the palace revealed that the Queen allowed Prince Harry and Markle to not celebrate Christmas with the royal family in Sandringham.

As such, if the Queen has no qualms about not spending Christmas with the Sussexes this year, no one else should accuse them of snubbing Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh,

Meanwhile, Markle also made headlines this week after Princess Marie of Denmark seemingly threw shade at her whining and complaining during her interview with Paris Match.

Princess Marie said that complaining is useless after she was asked if she’s also struggling just like Prince Harry’s wife.
