Will Tom Cruise be reuniting with his daughter Suri this Christmas? Unfortunately, it looks like the answer is no.

Heat recently released a story claiming that the "Mission Impossible" and "Top Gun 2" star will be spending time with his 12-year-old daughter, Suri, this Christmas. A so-called source told the magazine that Suri misses her dad and that she wants to be with him during the holidays.

It has not been confirmed why Cruise is estranged from his daughter, but it is believed that the actor joining Scientology may have been one of the reasons why Suri has not been able to see her dad. Cruise's ex-wife, Katie Holmes, has primary custody of their daughter now and denounced the religion after her divorce from the actor in 2012. The Heat magazine source claimed that Scientology put a wedge between Cruise and Holmes, but that this had nothing to do with his relationship with his daughter. Since a lot of time has passed, Cruise apparently now wants to prioritize Suri's needs and forget their differences.

The unnamed source went on to claim that Holmes has agreed to the reunion and are currently figuring out where they would meet. Holmes will reportedly prefer that they meet in a semi-public place, while Cruise will push for a more secure location where they would not be disturbed by paparazzi. The so-called insider further claimed that Cruise and Suri may likely have their reunion at a secluded country estate, where they could catch up and exchange gifts away from the eyes of the public.

Gossip Cop, however, has debunked this story. Holmes' rep has told the outlet that there is no truth to rumors that Cruise will be reuniting with their daughter Suri for the holidays.

This isn't the first time Gossip Cop has had to refute reports of Cruise and Suri's rumored reunion. In November, Star magazine also claimed that the actor wanted to take Suri away from her mother for the holidays. At the time, Holmes' agent also refuted the claims.

Last year, the same outlet also busted National Enquirer for claiming that Cruise and his ex-wife were working out a new custody deal for their daughter. Another false report from OK! magazine came out in January claiming that Suri made a "desperate plea" to see Cruise. None of these stories, however, turned out to be true.
