It has been seven weeks since she officially took over on “Dancing With the Stars,” but it seems there are still hiccups when it comes to Tyra Banks taking on Tom Bergeon and Erin Andrew’s old hosting gig for the show’s 29th season.

Banks has not been warmly received by viewers during her tenure on the ABC program, especially as she continues making mistakes while hosting. From failed sketches, mispronounced names and words and a major blunder when it came to the Week 4 elimination, much of what has happened has been criticized. Her wardrobe changes and malfunctions have also caused issues—and in a post-show interview with Parade Magazine, the former model revealed she suffered from another one during Week 7--“Villains Night.”

“The quick changes are crazy, so we practice them a couple of days before in my garage at home and it never goes as planned,” she told the website. “So, we did tonight’s change in my garage in 1 minute 14 seconds. That was not the case this time. It was a hot mess. I had to get my hair in that big like ‘Game of Thrones’-looking thing and we forgot to pull my hair like through it. And then the shimmery thing had fallen off.”

She continued to add she also suffered an issue with remembering her shoes during the quick costume changes, so she wore black sneakers she uses for hiking during the entire first half of the show—and even during a portion of the second before she made a quick disappearance to change again.

Banks’ outfits and malfunctions, in particular, have been the focus of ire from fans, who feel they are too over-the-top and unnecessary for the show and have commented on them for weeks, comparing them to different things and criticizing the style choices.

The Villains Night issues with her wardrobe were the second time Banks has acknowledged a malfunction on the show, after first calling attention to a broken earring on premiere night.

The news about the malfunctions during the show’s most recent episode also comes as Banks has been facing backlash over a report that she was trying to ban “Real Housewives” cast members from competing on the show in the future, which led to comments from Bethenny Frankel, Nene Leakes (who did compete in the past) and Porsha Williams.

However, her publicist quickly tried to shut the rumors of a Bravo celebrity ban down in a statement to Page Six on Oct. 22.

“This is 100 percent untrue,” Elana Rose told the publication. “She’s a huge fan of the ‘Housewives’ and everyone knows Tyra is a businesswoman first. As a businesswoman, why would she say anything against the ‘Housewives’? She has nothing to do with casting.”

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
