According to his manager, Ali Abdelaziz. The former two-time title light heavyweight challenger plans to compete in the heavyweight division.

"Yes it's true that I'll come back to MMA at heavyweight, but only if Jones fights [Cormier] for the title!" Johnson wrote on Instagram.

However, as early as now, Johnson has already proposed a potential comeback fight scenario fot he UFC. As per Johnson, he always wanted to fight the “very best” before he finally call it a career.

The UFC knockout artist also added that his former rival Jon Jones has always been his motivation when he was still fighting as a light heavyweight. And now that Jones is also rumored to be contemplating on moving up to heavyweight, Johnson believes that him, Jones and Daniel Cormier would be great match-ups for the division.

"It's a personal goal of mine to fight the very best of the best before I truly stop fighting. Jon was always my motivation once I went to [light heavyweight]. Heavyweight would be insane if the 3 of us were at it again!," Johnson added.

Meanwhile, UFC featherweight sensation Ortega has also stated that he wants to fight UFC star Chan Sung Jung also known as, “Korean Zombie.”

In a recent interview with MMA Fighting, Ortega named Jung as the top opponent in “his head” for his UFC return.

“In my head it was great. “Korean [Zombie]” was talking smack, I felt good, I was already back to training, I was like cool. I had my boys in Mexico City set up, training facilities over there,” Ortega explained.

The submission artist also mentioned that he wants to put on a show for the fans in a “main event” fight with Jung.

I want to fight. I want to give the fans a main event fight somewhere. “Korean Zombie” sounds good, especially after the fact that he’s talking s—t, which is not like him, so I’m guessing there’s something behind that.

Ortega also repeatedly mentioned that Jung’s trash-talking antics is good for their potential fight and that they should really make the fight happen for the fans.

“If he can keep talking and the fans want to see it and we can make that a main event somewhere, we should,” Ortega added.
