As we are just a day away from hitting the New Year 2020, here is a list of three major fights that can unfold in the coming months:

Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Masvidal:

The two are expected to face off for the Welterweight title. Even though Masvidal has been in the UF for a very long time, it was only in 2019 when he switched from being fans’ favorite to an actual title contender. While the fans now hope Masvidal can sure challenge for the Welterweight belt, his potential final match could be against the reigning champion, Usman.

Jon Jones v. Stipe Miocic:

A move to the heavyweight category was on the cards for Jones forever now and it looks like, it is finally turning into reality. He recently broke the news but then, Miocic has a commitment to fight against Daniel Cormier. Hence, it is understood that Jones will defend his light heavyweight championship against Dominick Reyes on Feb. 8 while Miocic and Cormier would meet in the ring. After that, Jones, who will then make a move to the heavyweights, could face Miocic.

Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier:

As mentioned, Miocic and Cormier have a meeting due next year. Even though the date and venue are yet to be decided, their third meeting is sure to happen. Their previous two combats were entertaining enough as they fought for the heavyweight championship. According to news reports, after their third meeting, Cormier plans to retire, irrespective of the result. However, the UFC fans believe that it is Cormier who has a great chance to end on a high note.
