Sony Pictures dropped a new action-packed trailer of the highly anticipated movie, "Uncharted," on YouTube on Thursday. It features Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg.

The trailer opens with Holland, who plays Nathan Drake, showing off his bartending skills in front of two ladies. Wahlberg, who portrays Victor Sullivan, then makes fun of him for being "a little too young" for the job. Holland replies by telling Wahlberg he's "a little too old for prom."

In the next scene, Wahlberg introduces Holland to a map for "the greatest treasure never found," which was lost by a Portuguese explorer named Ferdinand Magellan.

Apparently, the clip reveals the connection between the movie and the video game of the same name, which was developed by the Naughty Dog.

By simply looking at the new trailer, one can notice that director Ruben Fleischer incorporated some popular video game moments into the live-action movie, like when Holland reaches the plane after climbing the cargo crates. The well-known pirate scene can also be easily identified by fans.

Fans took to the comments section to share their reaction to the trailer.

One of them said they expected Captain Jack Sparrow [Johnny Depp's character in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series] to appear in the pirate scene.

"Somehow expected Jack Sparrow to walk outside of the cabin of the airlifted ships saying: 'Oi, what's all this then?'" the fan noted. "The music helped with that too I think."

Another fan pointed out that all other cast members in the movie look taller than Holland and this makes it hard to believe he's playing Nate's character, who is average-size in the video game.

It can be recalled that Holland dropped the first trailer of the movie in October. It was highly praised by the netizens, who had nice things to say about the action-packed scenes and the chemistry between the actors.

Wahlberg, on the other hand, shared a behind-the-scenes video of the movie via Instagram on the same day.

"Uncharted" will premiere on Feb. 18, 2022, exclusively in theaters. It also stars Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, Antonio Banderas and Patricia Meeden. The movie was written by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, who were also responsible for writing the "Iron Man" screenplay in 2008.
