“This is Us” returns from winter recess on Tuesday at 10 p.m. EST and it looks like viewers will finally get the answers to some important questions. In the first half of Season 1 it was revealed that both Jack and William were dead. The details surrounding their deaths — including when and how they occurred — remain a mystery. Audiences were also left in the dark about the fate of Toby, who collapsed in the winter finale.

When the second half of Season 1 debuts episode 11 on NBC, viewers will have some, if not all, of their questions answered. Photos and video from “The Right Thing to Do” suggest we’ll be taking a trip into the past, back to the day Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) learned they were expecting not one, but three babies. Viewers will also learn more about William’s (Ron Cephas Jones) death.

In a preview for the episode he is shown sitting down with Randall (Sterling K. Brown) to reveal that the medication he’s on is no longer working. Randall assures him in the clip that it’s “going to be ok,” but “This is Us” fans know that’s not the case. Photos show Randall meeting with Jesse (Denis O'Hare), whom we learned was Randall’s lover in an earlier episode of Season 1. It is not clear what the two intend to discuss, but we’re crossing our fingers for more details about what happened to William and a glimpse into his past.

Toby (Chris Sullivan), who was last seen fighting for his life in the “This is Us” winter finale, is also featured in the episode preview. His feature is a look back at the intense moment he and Kate (Chrissy Metz) shared before he collapsed. Stars of the show have, however, teased a revelation about his fate in the first few minutes of episode 11.

Check out the photos above and be sure to tune in to “This is Us” Tuesday at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
