Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) and Dick Casablancas (Ryan Hansen) could not stand the sight of each other in the show “Veronica Mars,” but in real life, the actors who play them are really great friends.

Bell and Hansen even had a mini reunion this Christmas, much to the delight of the show’s avid fans. The two celebrated with their spouses, Dax Sheppard and Amy Hansen, respectively, and even posted hilarious photos of their reunion on their social media accounts.

In the photo Bell posted on her Instagram account, the foursome wore matching couple’s sweaters then gave each other a huge kiss, but not in the traditional way. Shepard and Hansen were the ones smooching each other, while Bell tried to kiss Amy as she giggled.

It was a scenario that would have made the trouble-making Dick Casablancas proud.

Hansen took things to a different level in his post as his wife finally kissed Bell back.

Meanwhile, Sheppard posted the most wholesome photo showing the foursome simply flashing big, happy smiles at the camera.

“Veronica Mars” ran for three seasons from 2004 to 2007. Fans were so heartbroken over its cancellation that when show creator Rob Thomas started a Kickstarter campaign to continue the show as a movie, they achieved a $2 million goal in less than 11 hours. In the end, they accumulated over $5.7 million, and the movie was released on March 14, 2014.

Thomas is now working on a different series called “iZombie,” and its lead character Liv Moore (Rose McIver) is often being compared to Bell’s Veronica Mars. Several “Veronica Mars” alums have already made cameos in the show, including Hansen, Enrico Colantoni and Percy Daggs, to name a few. Bell has yet to appear, as well as her onscreen partner, Jason Dohring. However, Bell has already lent her voice to the show as an erotic novel writer.
