Manchester United received two goals from both Nani and Wayne Rooney, as the Red Devils trounced Wolverhampton on Saturday at Old Trafford, 4-1.

Nani put United in the lead in the 17th minute, and Rooney would extend the lead 10 minutes later as the Red Devils were impressive in their execution going into halftime.

Steven Fletcher kept the game interesting with a header goal in the 47th minute, to cut the lead in half.

But Sir Alex Ferguson's squad would answer back. Nani gave United a 3-1 lead in the 56th minute, and then Rooney finished off Wolves with the final goal of the match in the 62nd minutes. The United attack was in quality form to say the least.

It was a positive way for United to end the week after being knocked out of Champions League.

Manchester United took 20 shots with 13 on goal, while Wolves took 11 with five on goal. Ball possession was nearly spit evenly.
