"Saturday Night Live" took President Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani to task with an opening sketch that parodied efforts by Trump's legal team in the Michigan legislature to overturn the election results.

The 9-minute sketch featured cast member Kate McKinnon playing Giuliani, and castmember Cecily Strong playing Melissa Carone, an IT contractor for Dominion Voting System, who was one of the witnesses in the case alleging voter fraud in Michigan.

“This election was stolen from the American people with a level of trickery not seen since Houdini,” McKinnon said amid flatulence sounds. “That wasn’t me. That was you guys.”

The sketch poked fun at Trump and his team, who have continued to spread baseless claims of voter fraud. It touched on the unsubstantiated allegations by presenting a less-than-credible witness.

“You want evidence? O.K., well, today I brought before you a dozen highly intelligent, barely intoxicated individuals who are all eyewitnesses,” McKinnon joked.

The audience erupted in laughter from Strong's portrayal of Carone, whose testimony went viral.

“I personally saw hundreds if not thousands of dead people vote,” Strong said. “I remember because I was walking out and they were walking out and they gave their votes to Democrats.”

Despite the laughter throughout the hearing, McKinnon’s Giuliani wrapped up the meeting by vowing to overturn the results of the election.

“In conclusion, I would say the defense rests, but we will never rest. Not until this election is overturned, or I get a full pardon and $10 million in cash,” she said.

“And if you liked what you saw here today, we’re giving a press conference right after this at the Ritz-Carlton... Plumbing and Heating Supply Company right off I-94 between a dirty movie theater and a crematorium.”
