Vivica A. Fox talks about “Kill Bill Vol. 3” and her desire for revenge for her character Vernita Green.

Quentin Tarantino has been teasing fans about a third installment for his beloved “Kill Bill” franchise. Many have been waiting for it for years since it has been over 15 years since “Kill Bill Vol. 2” was released. However, there is still no definite date as to when the third film is coming.

Fox, who played Vernita Green in “Kill Bill Vol. 1,” recently opened up about the third movie. Uma Thurman’s character Beatrix Kiddo aka The Bride killed her in the first film. Just like everyone else, Fox is anticipating for Green to get her revenge by proxy – through her daughter.

“Oh my gosh, I can't wait. I think they're waiting for [Vernita's] daughter to grow up,” Fox told The Hollywood Reporter.

“So, the latest I've heard is that [Quentin] and Uma have been talking, and I'd love for them to figure it out. Quentin is great with flashbacks and figuring out some kind of way to make his characters alive again in a film. So, I'm really hoping that Vernita Green gets her revenge.”

Fox and Thurman had a brutal fight scene in the first film. Fox admitted that she trained for six months for it. In fact, she went from size 8 down to size 2 due to her training. The action-packed scene between her and Thurman gave them several bruises.

"It was intense and grueling, but I loved every single bump and bruise. I'll never forget the fourth and final day of filming the fight; I counted 30 bruises on my body, and I was proud of every single one of them. I earned them,” she added.

Tarantino confirmed “Kill Bill Vol. 3” in December 2019. He already has an idea on how to proceed with the next movie. However, the director said it would still take years for him to finish it.

“The Bride has fought long and hard. I have an idea now that could be interesting. I still wouldn’t do it for a little bit. It would be at least three years from now. It is definitely in the cards,” Tarantino told Andy Cohen at the time.

Miss Fox dated her ex-boyfriend Omar “Slim” White (not pictured) for more than a year. The club promoter reportedly proposed to her with a stunning 8-carat diamond ring during the 2010 Christmas holiday, but they threw in the towel less than a year later. They have a 20-year age difference. Reuters
