Uma Thurman is returning to a screen near you.

The “Pulp Fiction” star has scored a new role on Apple TV+’s thriller series “Suspicion.” As Apple reports, Thurman takes the lead as an American professional whose 21-year-old son, Leo, is kidnapped from a central New York hotel. Although four British hotel guests become prime suspects in the public abduction, everything may not be what it seems.

As Variety reports, prior to this Thurman starred in Netflix’s “Chambers.” In the supernatural drama, which premiered in April 2019, the “Kill Bill” star assumes the role of a character named Nancy Lefevre. The story follows a heart transplant recipient who begins to develop the personality traits of her donor, which leads her to inquire about the person’s death.

Thurman has also starred in NBC’s “The Slap” and made numerous appearances in the Bravo series “Imposters.” In addition to her Golden Globe nominations for “Kill Bill Vols. 1 & 2,” Thurman won a Golden Globe in 2003 for her role in “Hysterical Blindness.” The 49-year-old starred alongside Julliette Lewis and Gena Rowlands in the HBO film that followed two women looking for love in 1980s New Jersey.

Chris Long, who co-executive produced “Gilmore Girls,” will be directing “Suspicion.” Further, it will be produced by Darin McLeod, who co-produced the TV miniseries “Watchmen.”

The new show’s cast will also consist of Elizabeth Henstridge (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), Kunal Nayyar (“The Big Bang Theory”), Angel Coulby (“Dancing on the Edge”), Georgina Campbell (“Black Mirror"), Elyes Gabel (“Scorpion"), and Noah Emmerich (“The Americans”).

Furthermore, the show is an adaptation of Keshet Broadcasting’s “False Flag.” Amit Cohen and Maria Feldman created the award-winning Israeli series, which aired in 2015. Other upcoming international Apple Originals include “Master of the Air,” “Trying,” and “Slow Horses.”

A release date for “Suspicion” has yet to be announced.
