The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) are as well known for awarding the year's top music videos to recording artists as its zany antics, unforgettable performances and wacky black carpet moments.
Katy Perry brought home the most Moonmen, snagging the video of the year award.
Performances by Adele and Lady Gaga, rather her alter-ego Jo Calderone, rocked the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Aug. 28.
