  • Epic Games will host a new PlayStation-exclusive "Fortnite" tournament Friday
  • Those who win will get a new PlayStation 5 for free
  • Those who perform well will get a new exclusive outfit and back bling

Sony’s new gaming console, the PlayStation 5, has been selling like hotcakes since it was launched. Thankfully, there’s a fun way to get one – without even spending money on it.

Epic Games has announced that it will host a PlayStation-exclusive “Fortnite” Generations Cup for players in all regions. Those who will win and emerge as the best “Fortnite” player in their respective region will be awarded a brand-new PlayStation 5 console.

The new solo tournament will take place on Friday. Those who win against everyone who will be joining the Generations Cup will get a new PS5 — where they can continue playing “Fortnite,” of course.

Those who do not become the champion but still perform well enough to get a top spot will earn for themselves a free Indigo Kuno Outfit and Indigo Kama Back Bling. The in-game costume looks like a cool ninja outfit, complete with those bladed weapons at the back.

While the PS5 is worth fighting for, the new outfit, which is exclusive for those who earn it via the tournament, is also a tempting prize, Screen Rant noted.

About the tournament

The “Fortnite” Generations Cup tournament is open to all players on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to join. Whether they win the PS5 or the outfits or nothing at all, they’ll still have fun playing.

The tournament will give away a total of eight PS5 consoles, one for each of the regions where the Generations Cup is open.
