In reference to the robbery that took place in a poker cage in Bellagio Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, the Metropolitan Police has released a surveillance video footage, which showed the suspect take off with cash.

Watch the video here.

The robbery took place Tuesday at 3:47 p.m. PST (6:47 p.m. EST). Police authorities said an armed man walked up to the poker cage and demanded money from a casino employee, Fox News affiliated television station, KVVU-TV reported.

The video footage released by the authorities showed the suspect’s car, a silver Chevrolet Cruze with a Nevada license plate that read 37D147, pulling through the hotel’s driveway, reports said.

The footage then showed the suspect, who the police described as a white male, walking through the casino door. He can be seen wearing a hoodie, a mask and a winter cap over a wig, which makes it difficult to identify him. The suspect can also be seen carrying a bag, which he later used to stash the cash.

As the video continues, the man approaches an attendant who is standing in front of the poker cage. Finally, the video cuts to an aerial shot showing the suspect stuffing money in his bag and leaving the premises. Authorities who have been investigating the incident told Las Vegas Sun they are confident that they would be able to locate the suspect.

John Pelletier, Metropolitan Police Captain said, “Those who commit crimes like this on the Strip will be hunted down and whatever amount of cash he got is not enough to face a lifetime in prison.”

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Bellagio has been robbed. A jewelry store located within the property was robbed earlier in March by three goons. The video of the incident that occurred in Bellagio’s lobby was posted on YouTube too. Check it out here.
