UPDATE: 3:37 a.m. EST — At least 20 people were said to have been injured and are receiving treatment at various hospitals. According to WPVI-TV, Chester County Hospital confirmed that six patients are being treated there. The hospital, however, did not mention the extent of the injuries.

UPDATE: 12:19 a.m. EST — At least 3 to 4 injuries have been reported after a multi-alarm fire broke out at a Pennsylvania senior community center on Thursday. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Chester County fire crews have been battling a four-alarm fire Thursday at a senior living community in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

The blaze was reported just around 11 p.m. EST on Thursday at Barclay Friends Senior Living Community in West Chester, in the 700 block of North Franklin Street, which is located about 35 miles west of Philadelphia.

ABC- affiliate WPVI-TV reported emergency crews have been transporting dozens of elderly people from the scene. There has been no immediate word on any injuries that might been caused due to the fire. It was also unclear what sparked the huge fire.

Videos and photos of the multi-alarm fire surfaced on social media soon after it broke out.
