Wendy Williams shared a health update after being absent from her chat show, "The Wendy Williams Show," saying, she is "going back stronger."

"It’s just after 8 o’clock in the morning and I’m doing OK, you know?" the 57-year-old broadcaster told her son, Kevin Hunter Jr. in the video shared on Instagram Wednesday.

The 21-year-old son asked his mother in the video, "How often do you come out here [to Florida]? to which Williams replied, "Often, it’s very peaceful being here."

Hunter asked his mother what she has to say about "those people who think you’re up to whatever it is?" Williams replied, "Excuse me, I am going back stronger. At 56 years old, there are things that happen to people."

The mother of one went on to explain that people often get health issues after the age of 40. "So, you’ve got to eat the right food," she said.

In the 5-minute-long video, Williams can be seen walking on the beachside wearing a black hoodie, completing her look with a black baseball cap.

The comments section was flooded with positive reactions.

"Thank you Kevin for filming this video and taking care of your Mom!!!!" one of the fans wrote while another fan wrote, "Wendy, I am SO happy to see you!! I miss you terribly. I find myself watching old clips of you and old after-shows just to get my WENDY fix in!! I can’t wait until you’re back!! Sending love and prayers."

Williams' publicist opened up about her return on the show, on the same day.

"She thanks everyone who has been patiently awaiting her return and believes that," the publicist told PageSix. "Thanks in large part to the love and support of her son, her family, her new team of doctors and a change of scenery, she is on the mend."

While in the recent video Williams was walking on the beach, last year she was spotted in a wheelchair.

Williams was admitted to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation in September last year when she was also recovering from COVID-19.

On the work front, Williams has been hosting the chat show since 2008. In her absence, actress Sherri Shephard is doing the show.
