Walmart (WMT) has released its top-selling items by state for 2019, and the results may surprise the same consumers that purchased these products online.

For its top-selling items by state list, the Midwest had some interesting choices. Minnesota consumers, for example, purchased a slew of Lipton Southern Sweet Tea Family Bags while Wisconsin shoppers had an affinity for Welch’s Concord Grape Jelly.

On the East Coast, Maine residents went out of their way to purchase Great Value Fat Free Sweetened Condensed Milk while shoppers in New York stocked up on Johnson’s Creamy Oil Moisturizing Baby Body Lotion. Vermont consumers must have been doing a lot of canning in 2019 as their top purchased item was Ball Glass Mason Jars.

In the South, things were a little different. South Carolinians purchased a bevy of Nabisco Minis Premium Original Saltine Crackers while Texans selected Equate Maximum Strength Sensitive Extra Whitening Toothpaste. Floridians also stocked up but decided upon Great Value and StarKist Chunk Light Tuna for their cupboards.

On the West Coast, Walmart saw its sales surge in California for Nintendo Switch Consoles and in Arizona consumers trended towards Swiss Miss Milk Chocolate Flavor Reduced Calorie Hot Cocoa Mix. Washington residents also purchased plenty of Great Value Free & Delicate Hypoallergenic Dryer Sheets while neighboring Oregon shoppers stocked up on Crest3D White Professional Effects WhiteStrips.
