Australian transformation duo Jade Spooner and Amal Wakim have come up with a diet plan that lets you have it all without sacrificing to do so. Equalution, as it is aptly named, balances your food intake, allowing you to still have those sweet and savory treats without ruining your diet in the process.

The science behind Equalution looks at both the macronutrients and micronutrients that are eaten each day. Basically, this still allows you to maintain a normal way of eating without depriving yourself of the foods that you love that can send many diets into a tailspin.

To understand how Equalution works, dieters need to first get themselves familiar with macronutrients – carbohydrates, protein fat. As part of the strategy of Equalution, you need to keep track of the macronutrients you eat to provide that balanced diet that the health plan focuses on. This should be an 80:20 ratio of macro to micronutrients, Spooner told the Daily Mail.

Macronutrients are key to the success of Equalution as they carry out many of the body’s vital functions. Carbohydrates and fats provide energy while protein repairs the tissue in the muscle, skin and connective tissue, according to Glamour. Unlike traditional diets that count calories, Equalution makes sure you have food from all food groups for again that balanced meal approach by incorporating both macro and micronutrients.

Understanding the number of macros your body needs is a little tricky as it is different for everyone based on current weight, activity, and weight loss goals. Luckily, online calculators can provide you with this assessment without much hesitation, Cosmopolitan said. Over time and as your body transforms, you will need to update your macros, so that you are eating within your healthy target range, according to Spooner and Wakim.

Both Spooner and Wakim are betting on the success of Equalution as they have said that many of its fans have found that it is an easy diet to follow and get results with. The Sydney-based entrepreneurs have also devoted a series of videos to the diet plan, showing exactly what they eat in a day – at home and when dining out – as well as before pictures of both of them. They also offer full-service assistance with following the diet plan for a complete transformation of the body from the very experts that founded it.
