Prince William reportedly did something last year that didn’t please Kate Middleton.

In a few days, the Duchess of Cambridge will turn another year older. For Middleton’s 37th birthday, we look back at her highlights in 2018, particularly regarding her relationship with the future king.

According to Ainhoa Barcelona, a journalist for Hello!, one of the most memorable things about the couple that happened last year was Middleton being unimpressed when Prince William visited the Isle of Man in June.

According to the Duke of Cambridge, when he told his wife that he would be making an official visit to the Isle of Man, Middleton just said, “Really?”

The annual motorsport event features riders competing in nine races around the circuit that is almost 38 miles long. The activity is difficult and dangerous, but these factors were also what made it popular. In fact, two competitors were killed in the event.

Middleton already spoke up about Prince William’s interest in motorcycles. According to the Duchess of Cambridge, she’s not at ease whenever her husband uses it because she’s worried about his safety.

“He’s still riding it,” Middleton confessed. “It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it‎.”

Although Prince William loves motorbikes, he has learned to slow down when he started his own family. In November, the duke admitted that he no longer takes his motorbike out as much as he used to.

“We talked about his bikes and the fact that he has put it on the back-burner a little bit because of his children now,” triple World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea said about his conversation with Prince William.

In related news, Prince William will have his first royal engagement this year on Middleton’s birthday. The Duke of Cambridge will be visiting London’s Air Ambulance as the charity will be celebrating its 30th anniversary. The charity is close to Prince William who previously worked as an air ambulance pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

However, the couple will still have enough time to celebrate the event together because Prince William will spend the rest of the day with Middleton and their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
