Fans will still have to wait until the Fall to see a batch of celebrities try their hardest at mastering the art of ballroom dance on the newest season of “Dancing With the Stars,” but thankfully, some small stuff about the show’s return has leaked.

While there hasn’t been anything revealed about whether or not the show will revamp its voting system following outrage from fans over Bobby Bones’ win in Season 27, a few hints have dropped about what fans can expect. Here’s everything we know so far about Season 28.

Carrie Ann Plans To Be A Tougher Judge

She’s known as being a stickler when it comes to lifts, but that isn’t the only way Carrie Ann Inaba plans to challenge the celebrities and their pro partners when the show returns.

“As we head into Season 28, and because we’ve had a year off, I want to see greatness. I’m really looking forward to it,” she told Pop Culture. “I want to be a little tougher. I’m a very compassionate judge, but I want to be even stricter.”

Peta Murgatroyd Could Come Back

She’s taken the last couple of seasons off, but that doesn’t mean Peta Murgatroyd is completely done with “DWTS,” and she even told Entertainment Tonight recently that if the show asked her to come back, then she would definitely consider it.

“I would love to be back. I miss everybody and, you know, although it is hard work... it is the toughest job of all time, but I don’t know what it’s gonna take to get me back,” she said. “I mean, I wanna come back, so....if it’s up to me, yes, probably. If they will have me back!”

Alan Bersten Will Be Back...

In an interview with Us Weekly earlier this month, Alan Bersten indicated that he would definitely be back for the show’s 28th season, saying her and other pros were “getting ready.”

But He’s Done With Showmances

However, after the showmance he engaged in with partner Alexis Ren during Season 27, Bersten is done with the concept. He told Us Weekly he was “done” with showmances after admitting he hasn’t spoken to Ren in a while.

“I haven’t spoken to her in a while. I’m not gonna lie. I’m gonna be honest,” he said.
