With 19 kids, several son and daughter in-laws and 12 grandchildren, life is never slow for Jim Bob and Michelle’s Duggar family. As viewers start watching the newest season of their TLC docuseries “Counting On,” here’s what fans could expect from the Arkansas brood in the coming months.

John-David Duggar is the latest offspring to announce a courtship and engagement. After a few weeks of publicly courting, John-David announced he was engaged to Abbie Grace Burnett in July.

“They are a wonderful match and make a beautiful couple! Abbie is a lovely young woman, full of tenderness and compassion. She has a deep love for the Lord and we are so delighted that John-David has asked her to be his wife!” the Duggar family wrote on their blog. “We love weddings in this family and can’t wait for this next one!”

While their wedding date has not been announced, Duggar Family News did locate a wedding registry for the pair that states Jan. 19, 2019 is their big day. It is important to note this date is close to John’s birthday and that Duggars have used their birthdates in place of wedding dates on publicly registries in years past.

New Job

With Jill’s husband Derick Dillard no longer appearing on “Counting On,” it looks like he’s moving on to a different profession outside of the reality TV realm. The couple recently announced that Derick is heading to law school at the University of Arkansas. Derick also recently graduated from the Cross Church School of Ministry residency program and received a minister’s license. Because of Derick’s schooling, the family of four will be taking a break from their extended overseas mission trip.

Pregnancy

Jessa Seewald has made it clear she has baby fever, so it wouldn’t be a shock if she and husband Ben made another pregnancy announcement soon. After being shown meeting her niece Felicity on the latest episode of “Counting On,” Jessa opening up about their baby plans.

“[We] would be overjoyed if we were to find out we were expecting again,” Jessa told Us Weekly. “It would be sweet to have a baby girl.”

Jessa, who has two sons, Spurgeon and Henry, said the couple is also considering fostering and adoption.

Courtships

The Duggars have not announced another courtship following John-David’s, though there are currently three Duggar offspring that are off-age. Twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 19, and Jason, 18, could also easily enter into a courtship. Meanwhile, Jana Duggar, 28, is the oldest remaining Duggar child that has not courted. She been linked to at least four men since last year, so it would not be surprising if she announced a relationship. After all, TLC’s most recent ad for the show (above) does feature Jana and teases “plenty of surprises in store.”

Watch “Counting On” on Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
