At 20 years-and-one-day old, Trevor Bayne is the youngest Daytona 500 Winner ever, and driving the No. 21 car, he joins A.J. Foyt, Cale Yarborough, Tiny Lund and David Pearson as Woods Brothers Racing drivers to take the checkered flag at NASCAR's biggest race.

Bayne became the seventh driver in NASCAR history to win their first start at Daytona, and he did it in only his second Sprint Cup Series event.

A native of Nashville who left high school to focus on his driving career (he later completed his GED), Bayne has been a one of NASCAR's promising drivers.

Long-seen by NASCAR insiders and racing veterans as the next big thing in the sport, the young and charismatic Bayne is now getting a chance to be noticed by the general public and—more importantly—sponsors. Woods Brothers only had sponsorship for 17 of the 36 Sprint Cup Races this season, and after previously being let go from other racing teams like Dale Earnhardt, Inc. and Michael Waltrip Racing when sponsors couldn't be secured. That shouldn't be a problem anymore.

With a scheduled media blitz that will take the youngster across the country, don't be surprised if Trevor Bayne races a lot more this season, and don't be surprised if he becomes a winner's circle regular.
