A 25-year-old Playboy model has been arrested for allegedly killing a 71-year-old child psychiatrist.

The man's body was found in the trunk of an abandoned vehicle just outside Las Vegas, leading to the arrest of Kelsey Turner on murder charges in California earlier this month.

According to her Facebook profile, Turner appeared in Playboy Italia in 2017 and identifies her as a “professional model” who lives in Las Vegas.

Her alleged victim, Dr. Thomas Burchard, was found after police received a call about an abandoned vehicle. He was located in the trunk of the car during an inventory check and was found bludgeoned to death, reports Fox. He worked nearly four decades in a behavioral health program with Montage Health, the Review-Journal reported.

Montage Health spokeswoman Mary Barker said in a statement: "Dr. Burchard was a psychiatrist in our behavioral health program for almost 40 years and was very helpful to many patients. It’s a very sad situation and our hearts go out to his family, friends, patients, and colleagues. We are notifying his patients and providing grief counseling for staff."

Turner’s mother, Susan, told KSBW that her daughter and Burchard knew each other for a number of years and that he paid rent on a home in Salinas, California, where Turner lived with her and her children.

On her Facebook page, Turner is listed as being in a relationship with a man named Greg Hagio, who was arrested in January on charges of strangulation and domestic battery in Las Vegas, KSBW reports. Those charges were later dropped.

Besides being featured in Playboy, Turner previously competed in a Maxim Magazine cover girl competition. When asked by the publication what she would do with the prize money if she were to win, she said she would pay off her student debt and “then help my family in any way." She ended up placing eighth.

The suspect is also a vocalist, previously telling Maxim she is a “very talented” R&B and blues singer.
