The draw for the 2022 World Cup is complete, identifying all the groups for this year’s tournament. With the schedule set, one team stands out as the favorite to take home the championship.

Who will win the 2022 World Cup? Brazil is the betting favorite with +500 odds at BetMGM. France and England are not far behind, tied for the second-best odds at +550.

There’s a gap between the top three teams and the second-tier contenders. Spain has +800 World Cup odds at BetMGM, putting it fourth in the 2022 field. Argentina (+900) and Germany (+1000) are the only other teams with 10/1 odds or better to win the World Cup.

Belgium (+1100), The Netherlands (+1100) and Portugal (+1200) are also given a realistic chance to be crowned the world’s best soccer team. Denmark (+2200) and Uruguay (+3300) are given an outside chance to win the World Cup in 2022.

The United States (+8000) enters the World Cup as a significant long shot. The USA men’s soccer team has been placed in Group B alongside England. The U.S. failed to qualify for the World Cup in 2018.

France is the reigning World Cup champion. The 2018 winners beat Croatia in the finals four years ago. Croatia (+4000) is not among the favorites to make a return to the World Cup Final.

Brazil won its last World Cup championship in 1994. No team has won consecutive World Cups since Brazil did it in 1958 and 1962.

The World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar from Nov. 21 through Dec. 18.
