Jennifer Garner has moved on with boyfriend John Miller after finalizing her divorce with Ben Affleck last year, but the actress reportedly wasn't ready for a deeper commitment just yet in the early months of their relationship.

Garner and Miller were first linked to each other in October last year, and it seemed like things were only getting more and more serious between the actress and Cali Group CEO. However, a source told Entertainment Tonight a few months after their romance hit the papers that the "Alias" alum had "slowed things down" with Miller.

"Jen’s children, career and Ben [Affleck] are her main focus at the moment and she is not ready for anything too serious," the insider said.

According to the source, Garner told her close friends that she "doesn’t want to be deeply committed" just a few months after finalizing her divorce with Affleck.

“[Jennifer] wants to focus on family, career and getting Ben back on track," the source said. "She enjoys her time with John but she has concerns of moving too quickly because she doesn’t want to be disappointed. Her friends are in full support of her stepping back a bit because they all know relationships take a lot of work and right now her plate is full.”

The "Love, Simon" actress reportedly continues to keep in touch with Affleck to offer support during his sobriety battle.

However, a more recent source dished to Entertainment Tonight that things have gotten serious with Garner and Miller and that they "couldn't be happier" about the development.

Miller reportedly often spends time with Garner and her three kids with Affleck, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7, at their Pacific Palisades home. Miller also brings along his two children with ex-wife Caroline Campbell when he hangs out with Garner's family.

But while the couple's relationship seems to be heating, the second insider insisted that the two are nowhere near ready for another marriage.

"[Garner and Miller are] in a true honeymoon phase in their relationship and while they've spoken about a future together, neither of them are ready to plan a wedding or get engaged," the source said.

According to the source, Garner has also been seeing her ex-husband less frequently these days now that her relationship with Miller is getting more serious.

Despite this, Garner and Affleck are often still photographed together co-parenting their children, usually taking their kids to school or attending church with them.

Last week, the exes were spotted dropping off their children to school together in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Garner and Affleck chatted amicably after the morning school run in photos obtained by Daily Mail.
