Meghan Markle is not competing with Kate Middleton even if they are constantly being pitted against each other.

Since the former “Suits” star joined the royal family, the British royal family followers have constantly compared her to the Duchess of Cambridge. However, according to an insider, there is actually no rivalry between Prince William and Prince Harry’s wives because Markle is fully aware that her sister-in-law will be queen someday and she has accepted that fact.

“Meghan is very aware that Kate will be Queen; their roles are very clear. Meghan doesn’t fit the mold, while Kate was groomed for this,” a source told People.

The insider added that Markle was a “fully formed” person when she joined the Firm. However, Middleton was still in college when she met Prince William.

“What’s challenging is when they are pitted against each other. That’s been challenging to both of them. Meghan has her life, Kate has hers,” the source added.

Both Middleton and Markle are dedicated mothers and their lives revolve around their kids. However, when it comes to handling their children in public, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are more private.

Prince Harry and Markle kept Archie’s baptism private. They also declined to release the names of their son’s godparents.

“William and Kate toe the line, maybe because they have to, but Harry and Meghan are saying no—no to releasing the names of Archie’s godparents, no to saying where Meghan gave birth. They are trying to carve out a different sort of public life and reset the rules,” a close pal of the couple said.

A few weeks ago, Prince Harry and Markle became emotional in an interview and Middleton reportedly reached out to them as she was concerned of their well-being. Amy Denman of OK! also reported that Middleton is holding peace talks with Prince William, Markle and Prince Harry to end their rumored feud.

However, it might still take time for the public to see the fab four together since Prince Harry and Markle will be vacationing in the U.S. Also, they decided to spend Christmas with Markle’s mom Doria Ragland instead of joining the royal family in Sandringham.
