Meghan Markle will seek more guidance from Amal Clooney and not Kate Middleton over one aspect of her baby’s life.

Sarah Dixon, a former maternity nurse, told People that Markle will not dress Baby Sussex in the same way that the Duchess of Cambridge dressed Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

“I really don’t think this baby will be dressed in smocking and knee-high socks the way Kate’s children have been. I think she will be a very modern parent and will probably take more guidance from friends such as Amal Clooney than she will from Kate,” she said.

Dixon also said that Markle will most likely not use Queen Elizabeth II’s vintage Silver Cross Balmoral pram, which Middleton used during Princess Charlotte’s christening. Instead, the Duchess of Sussex could opt for a Bugaboo that is also being used by Clooney for her twins.

The former maternity nurse said that Prince Harry’s wife has a very individual style, and she will most likely incorporate this when shopping for their baby. And when it comes to the brands that she will choose, Dixon thinks that Markle would stick to some brands from the United States.

Petit Tresor in Los Angeles, Honest, the eco-brand founded by Jessica Alba, and other brands could be at the top of Markle’s list

“She will want to incorporate her own style and her love of all things eco when it comes to clothing for the baby, and she will go for organic cotton for her layette I’m sure,” she said.

Markle is scheduled to give birth any time now. This week, an ambulance was seen waiting outside the “Suits” alum’s newly-renovated home, Frogmore Cottage. Markle previously said that she will give birth at the end of April or the beginning of May.

As such, the baby’s arrival can really happen anytime soon and it may coincide with Princess Charlotte’s birthday on May 2.
