Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly urged by palace aides to slow down.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very active when it comes to their royal duties. However, some believe that they are already working too much that they have been told to slow down.

An insider told Sunday Telegraph that the royal couple was urged to “slow down” for months since “there was no maternity leave, there was no summer break.” It seemed that the couple listened because they are due to make their last public appearance before their vacation.

Prince Harry and Markle visited South Africa in September. They took their son Archie with them during their trip.

Many were convinced that their official tour was a success, with some believing that they had finally revived their tarnished reputation after being plagued with negative headlines all year long. However, the couple turned the tides against them when they announced that they were suing Daily Mail for publishing Markle’s private letter to her father Thomas Markle Sr.

Just days after the couple made the announcement, Prince Harry also filed a lawsuit against The Mirror and The Sun for an alleged phone hacking. Due to their move, many were convinced that the couple had started an all-out-war against the press.

The media attacked the couple and a number of royal followers slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Many believed that they should be boycotted.

“That’s what I really wanna see. The press is acting like these two are so important. Just let them tow be and boycott them,” a social media user wrote.

A few weeks ago, Prince Harry and Markle appeared to do an interview for an ITV documentary. The couple got candid and emotional as they shared their struggles as first-time parents and working royals who are under constant media scrutiny. Markle said that only a few asked her if she was fine.

However, the netizens were irked since they felt that Prince Harry and Markle were only complaining about their privileged lives. Many thought that they were to blame for all the criticisms they received.

“I went from not caring whatsoever about the British royal family to actively disliking Harry and Meghan based on these documentary interviews. A princess complaining about her life and a prince airing his problems with his sibling, just urg,” Karol Markowicz commented.
