Prince William spoke for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for the first time amid their rumored rift.

For months there have been rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are feuding with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They weren’t seen together for months, but they reunited over the weekend for the Remembrance concert and Remembrance Sunday.

On Tuesday, Prince William mentioned his brother Prince Harry and sister-in-law Markle in a touching speech at an event celebrating volunteers working with Shout.

“It has been an amazing journey. Catherine and I, and I know I speak for Harry and Meghan as well, couldn’t be more proud of what Shout has accomplished and what you are still to accomplish,” Prince William said.

“You are still a relatively new charity but hitting some big goals and some very big objectives, so we really appreciate the work you are doing. As some of you may know, we launched formally earlier this year, we had roughly 15,000 volunteering after the launch, which is a fantastic number. We have 3,000 now in training, and 1,500 of you actively involved now.”

In the same speech, Prince William recognized the volunteers’ effort to wake up at 3 a.m. to answer peak demands. He also added that there are not enough volunteers despite the growing number of people joining the service.

Prince William and Prince Harry have been allegedly feuding due to Markle. Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s youngest son did not like it when his big brother told him to slow down with his romance with Markle.

According to royal commentator Angela Mollard, Prince Harry was just being reactive when his sibling did not mean any harm. Meanwhile, according to Richard Kay, Prince William only advised his younger brother to take his time to know his bride because it was what their mom Princess Diana told him.

Prince William waited for almost a decade before he proposed to Middleton. Princess Diana reportedly told him that he should take his time to know the person he would marry because the late Princess of Wales believed that had she and Prince Charles started as friends and took the time to get to know each other well, they would have not separated.
