Meghan Markle is spending quite a bit of time with her sister-in-law now that she’s expecting her first child. Ahead of the 2019 delivery of her and Prince Harry’s baby, the Duchess of Sussex is said to be buddying up to a royal other than her husband.

Life & Style magazine reports in their Dec. 3 issue that the expectant royal has been spending a large amount of her free time with Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife.

“As her due date approaches, Meghan’s excited but also nervous about becoming a first-time mom so she tries to spend as much time as possible with Kate,” shared a source. According to the insider, the mother of three puts Meghan’s mind “at ease.”

“They’ll catch up and talk babies over tea, sandwiches, and scones or spend hours together shopping for baby clothes online,” said the source. “If Kate comes across something adorable on her own, she’ll text Meghan the link to it, too.”

The Duchess of Cambridge is also helping Meghan settle into motherhood but allowing her to help her care for her and William’s children, Prince George, 5; Princess Charlotte, 3; and Prince Louis, 6 months.

“George, Charlotte, and Louis all adore their aunt,” says the source. “Meghan will change Louis’ diapers, help cook and put her acting skills to good use by pulling funny faces and speaking in silly voices. She’ll have George and Charlotte in fits of laughter.”

Kate, however, isn’t the only one caring for the pregnant Duchess. Prince Harry is also said to be lovingly caring for her while she’s expecting. “Harry will bring her tea and breakfast in bed,” said the insider. “They go over their schedule and then take a stroll in the gardens together before Meghan does her daily prenatal yoga.”
