Prince William may be one of the few people who hasn’t seen Netflix’s “Tiger King.”

The 37-year-old royal joked he has a good reason why he and Kate Middleton still haven’t seen the highly talked about documentary series during Thursday’s episode of BBC’s “The Big Night In” with Stephen Fry, E! Online reported.

“I tend to avoid shows about royalty,” he quipped.

“Tiger King” has taken the world by storm since its March 20 release as viewers have succumbed to a world of those who are in the business of buying and selling tigers. The show centers around the “tiger king” himself, Joe Exotic (Joseph Maldonado-Passage,) who is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence on murder for hire charges, Esquire reported.

The Duke of Cambridge, however, is apparently a fan of a different TV show: “EastEnders.”

“By the way have you seen anything good on TV?” Prince William asked during the BBC special. “It's hell without ‘EastEnders.’”

“EastEnders” is a British soap opera that has been running since 1985 and centers around characters set in Albert Square in London. But since the show has been postponed because of COVID-19, according to Evening Standard, it looks like the Duke and Duchess will have to find something else to occupy their time.

On the topic of homeschooling his and Kate’s three children, Prince William said, “It’s a bit of a nightmare really.”

He then joked again with Fry asking what subjects the host may know that he could teach to his children. "How's your French?" he asked.

The Duke and Duchess have been continuously open about their own homeschooling experience while they remain socially distanced in Anmer Hall. They have found different ways to entertain their children and recently celebrated their youngest son Prince Louis’s second birthday on Thursday.
