You haven’t seen the last of Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi. The “Bachelor” Season 21 couple is considering returning to TV for the conclusion of their love story.

Nick, who is currently competing on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” sat down with Mario Lopez for a Facebook Live interview with Extra. During their discussion, Nick revealed that he and Vanessa are not actively planning a wedding, nor have they given much thought to tying the knot on TV. The “Bachelor” star said that they are open to the idea, though he was aware that not every couple who meets on the show is approached about a follow-up series.

“Vanessa and I are just focused on our relationship — when we decide it’s time for us to take that next step, we’re just going to plan a wedding, and if the show wants us, great, and if not...We’re not really focused on whether it’s going to be televised or not,” he said.

While broadcasting their relationship on TV may not be a priority for Nick and Vanessa, they’re certainly not shy about sharing aspects of their whirlwind romance with the world. Vanessa recently joined Nick and “DWTS” Season 24 partner Peta Murgatroyd in the ballroom for a dance. As footage from TMZ showed ahead of Week 4, Nick appeared to almost lock lips with Peta before running over to his fiancee in the audience, grabbing her and making out with her.

Despite their very public relationship and frequent public displays of affection, “Bachelor” fans are still not buying Nick and Vanessa as a lasting couple. They’ve had to defend their relationship multiple times, most recently assuring Ellen DeGeneres that their first interview was “honest,” and not “awkward,” during an “Ellen DeGeneres Show” appearance.

“I don’t think so,” Vanessa said (via Us Weekly). “I think we both went in it wanting to be honest and open about couples, you know, sometimes things can get tough, but we’re very committed to each other, we love each other, and that’s what we’re focusing on.”

Catch more of Nick and Vanessa on “DWTS” Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
