Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, the rumored girlfriends of Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, respectively, are planning to reunite the two One Directioners, Hollywood Life reported Thursday. Malik announced last March that he was leaving One Direction, and in August, just weeks after the group’s five-year anniversary, rumors emerged that its members would be going on an “extended hiatus” in March 2016.

However, a source told the entertainment website that Styles’ rumored girlfriend Jenner, and Malik, who is reportedly dating Hadid, are likely to come together on double dates. “Kendall and Gigi are both eager to go on double dates together,” the source told Hollywood Life.

“But first they need to figure out how to make it happen. They are planning on coming up with a secret plan to reunite the two former friends, however they are not rushing. They want to make sure that when all four of them finally go out together, that both Harry and Zayn are on board,” the insider added.

In his recent interview with Billboard website, Malik suggested that not all members from One Direction kept in touch with him. “The truth of it is, you can think one thing about a situation and the total opposite can happen,” Malik said. “I had every intention of remaining friends with everybody, but I guess certain phone numbers have changed and I haven’t received calls from a lot of people. I’ve reached out to a few of them and not got a reply. Certain people have pride issues, but it’s stuff you overcome in time.”

Malik and Hadid, who have been reportedly dating for a few months now, were spotted house hunting in New York Monday afternoon sparking rumors that the two were planning to move in together. Jenner and Styles were recently photographed getting intimate on a yacht in the Caribbean island of St. Barts.
