Is ABC’s “Grand Hotel” shuttering its doors after its Season 1 finale tonight?

Based on the Spanish TV series “Gran Hotel” and developed by Brian Tanen, “Grand Hotel” follows all the drama of those working and staying at the last family-owned hotel in Miami Beach.

The first 12 episodes of Season 1 have already aired, with the final episode set to debut Monday night, leaving viewers wondering what’s next for the show and if there will be a Season 2 or not.

Unfortunately for fans of the summer series, the network hasn’t made any renewal or cancellation decisions yet.

“We’re going to wait until the end of its run,” Karey Burke, ABC’s President of Entertainment, said during the network’s summer Television Critics Association event last month, according to Deadline. “It’s a show we like a lot. It’s a show that I wish the ratings were a bit stronger but we’ll make that decision after its run.”

Ahead of tonight’s Season 1 finale, “Grand Hotel” has an average rating of 0.51 in the important 18-49 demo and an average weekly viewership of 2.764 million, according to TV Series Finale. The most recent episode of the Eva Longoria-exec produced drama, though, only garnered a 0.37 rating in the demo and 2.236 million viewers.

While fans wait to find out if the series is being renewed or canceled, they can catch the Season 1 finale (episode 13, titled “A Perfect Storm”) of “Grand Hotel” when it airs on ABC on Monday at 10 p.m. EDT.
