“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner followed in the footsteps of her famous sisters after she got a reality show of her own, but “Life of Kylie” is reportedly a “disaster.” An insider, however, revealed the rumor was false to Gossip Cop, the website that regularly debunks celebrity rumors.

Like all of the “KUWTK” spinoffs, “Life of Kylie” is slated to air on E! The network defended the series.

“As an executive producer and star, Kylie Jenner has opened up her world to share with her fans since starting production in the spring. We are excited for the premiere of ‘Life of Kylie’ on Sunday, August 6 at 9pm ET/PT,” an E! spokesperson told Gossip Cop Wednesday.

The statement continued: “Throughout our partnership with Kylie, she’s shown just how dedicated she is to shooting a show we know her fans are going to love. We are excited about the ‘Life of Kylie’ episodes we’ve seen and can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

Originally, Life & Style claimed the new series was a catastrophe. “The producers and the network are worried that ‘Life Of Kylie’ is going to be a disaster,” an insider told the magazine Wednesday. “Based on what they’ve seen so far, they fear they have a real dog on their hands.”

One of the rumored problems with the series is that Jenner didn’t want to show her personal life, which would leave ex-boyfriend Tyga out of the series. The couple was dating when filming began, but they split. She moved on with rapper Travis Scott.

“Kylie comes across dull and wooden. There just isn’t enough drama,” the source claimed. “It’s been testing poorly [during screenings], even with diehard Kylie fans. They’re not finding her interesting enough to watch for an entire episode.”

The trailer for the series dropped in May. “When you grow up on camera, everybody feels like they know you, but they don't,” the 19-year-old says. “I feel like a lot of people have misconceptions of who I am.”

She’s been on reality TV since she was 9 years old. The first time the world got a look at Jenner she was swinging from a stripper pole in her parents’ room, a gift given to them by Kardashian West.

“There's two sides of me. There's an image that I feel constantly pressured to keep up with, and who I really am around my friends,” Jenner says in the trailer. “This show is a gift for my fans.”

“Nobody has a perfect life. But I'm not totally innocent because I am keeping up this lifestyle. I can't do it forever,” she continues. “This isn't Keeping Up With the Kardashians. This is like a therapy session.”

Even though the Kardashian-Jenner sisters normally collaboration on spin-offs and makeup brands, Jenner reportedly wants “Life of Kylie” to only include her — not her famous sisters.

“Producers are scrambling and have thrown around the idea of having Kim [Kardashian] on the show. But Kylie is resisting. It’s her show, and she doesn’t want it to be about Kim or anyone else,” the source told Life & Style magazine.

In truth, Jenner often collaborates with her sisters. She teamed up with Kim Kardashian West and Khloe Kardashian for her famous lip kits. Kardashian West was ultimately inspired to start her own make-up brand. While Jenner branched out into eyeshadows and liquid liner, Kardashian West took hold of the highlighter market with her kit.

Jenner has not issued a statement about her series. She recently changed the “T” tattoo she got on the inside of her ankle for ex-boyfriend Tyga to read, “la.” It’s supposedly a nod to her new beau.

For all the latest Jenner gossip, don’t miss “Life of Kylie” when it airs Sunday, Aug. 6 at 9 p.m. EDT on E!
