Gal Gadot surprised four frontliners from Detroit in a video call.

The Israeli actress made a surprise virtual appearance on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday (May 27). During a video call with the show’s hosts, nurse Erin Cavanaugh, emergency room technicians Beth Gonzalez and Michelle Poole, and respiratory therapist Rena Lailberte wore Wonder Woman T-shirts because they are big fans of the superhero.

The beauty queen-turned-actress then made the interview extra special for the four frontliners when she surprisingly joined them.

During the call, Cavanaugh explained why they wear Wonder Woman t-shirts while on duty.

“Wonder Woman believes in people. She believes in love. She saves people when people can’t save themselves,” the nurse said. “She’s the strongest chick I know.”

Gonzales added that for her, wearing a Wonder Woman t-shirt gives her a “little extra boost” when she is on duty. For Lailberte, the shirt helps her believe in herself that she can “take on the world.”

After Lailberte spoke, the “Wonder Woman” star suddenly appeared in the video call, leaving the four shocked. They immediately cheered for Gadot when they realized that the actress has joined the call.

“Ladies, can I please send you a virtual hug,” Gadot told the frontliners.

“Oh my God, I’ve been listening to you for the past few minutes. You are the real heroes. Let’s just make this clear. Everything you do is the real deal. You are risking your life for other people. I get emotional thinking about it. You are amazing, and thank you so much for everything that you do.”

The “Justice League” star shared clips from the call on her Instagram account.

“Wow these women moved me so much.. can’t thank them and their colleagues enough,” she wrote in the caption.

“You are stronger than you believe. You have greater powers than you know.”

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Gadot was spotted wearing a white tank top and shorts while walking her dog in public. She paired her outfit with sneakers and accessorized with a pair of stud earrings and dark sunglasses. She also followed the state’s protective equipment orders by wearing a blue medical face mask.
